Window Community

In 2015, La Carmina and I collaborated on a project with Hotel Sáv in Hong Kong called "Floor of Love". The hotel worked with a bunch of designers and artists, who each did the art/interior design for a room of their own on the hotel, all of which were on the same "Floor of Love." Part of the proceeds from the rooms on this floor went to an organization in Hong Kong that supports artists with disabilities.

I made 7 pieces for the room. This acrylic is made to represent a round, basement window or porthole that's just below floor level. I wanted to give the guests a rare view of a bustling and fashionable community.

You can read more about the exhibition (and see photos of this pieces in the room) on La Carmina's site here.
